Sharada Vidyalaya celebrates it's centenary
The school was started in 1922 as a Telugu medium school for girls of old city during British rule in India. Acknowledging the request from the community in general for English medium of education, the English medium school was established in 2015, as a Co-Ed institution. It is recognised by the Telangana state council of educational research and training (SCERT), Govt. of Telangana.
The quality of education imparted here is reflected in the excellent results of the students. Innovative tools of learning are implemented by the teachers to take learning beyond the four walls of the class room. A multisensory approach is employed to ensure that the students carry concepts lifelong. Our teachers are warm, affectionate, experienced and well qualified. Two PET teachers support the sporting activities and physical fitness of the students.
Teaching Standards
Our Digital classes provide a new dimension of learning and with the view of empowering children with the latest information and communication Technology that makes them future ready. The House system in the school promotes team spirit and camaraderie and enables the senior students to provide care and guidance to their junior schoolmates. Science is essentially a practical subject. Our science lab is a workplace for the students to remember the concepts better.
Library: Library at Sharada Vidyalaya is stocked with hundreds of books on a variety of subjects. New books are added regularly which provides an environment for academic research.
We follow CCE method (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) prescribed by state government CCE. Since it is a continuous process, it is comprehensive in all areas of a student’s development and ensures a constant appraisal of all elements involved in teaching.

Mrs. Seema Tornekar
The School is headed by an able Principal, Mrs. Seema Tornekar, who is a leaders with a passion for academic and student development and history of success in developing affective strategies to over reach curriculum goals. She has vast and varied experience in the field of education. She received the Best teacher award from Rotary club, Hyderabad.
